But where is the space made by and for creatives? The space we can call home? A physical building we can call our own? The Flourish Alabama welcomes you to the Greenhouse: an event venue and workshop space dedicated to helping artists Bloom. Located in downtown Ensley at the center of a burgeoning Black Arts District.

FOR CULTIVATION…

The Greenhouse hosts numerous events celebrating and showcasing artists, Ensley, and creativity. We also host a variety of workshops in the space ranging from mental health to creativity.

Events held at The Greenhouse require a minimum rental of 4 hours, with the exception of workshops and rehearsals, which requires a minimum rental of 2 hours.

  • The Greenhouse can be found at 602 19th Street Ensley Birmingham, AL, 35205.

  • A member of our team will arrive at the venue ahead of your event to assist with any setup and make sure you have everything you need to have a successful event!

  • We accept all major credit card carriers.

  • We DO NOT have an alcohol license. If you’re planning to provide alcohol during your event, you’ll need to contract a beverage vendor with an active alcohol license to serve your beverages. Don’t have anyone in mind? We got you fam! Classy Cocktails 205 is our Greenhouse-preferred vendor. You can add on our drink package to any rental for an additional fee. If you have any questions concerning our packages, contact Monique at Classy Cocktails, 205-563-9902.

  • Yes! Tours are available by appointment only. Send an email to greenhouse@theflourishal.com to request a tour!

  • We provide basic setup (chairs, tables, stage, lighting, and sound). All other decor/decorations or setup is the responsibility of the client or client’s vendor.

  • Nah! We are an open vendor location, but if you need suggestions, let us know! We have great references!
